LogSprint

Privacy policy

Last updated 31 July 2026 · applies to the LogSprint iOS app and this website

The short version

Your logbook stays on your phone. LogSprint has no accounts and no servers, so we cannot see your trips, your location, or your receipts. We hold no personal information about you at all.

Data in the app

Everything LogSprint records lives in a local database on your iPhone: trips, odometer readings, trip purposes, vehicle details, expense receipts, and the edit history of your logbook. None of it is transmitted to us. There is no LogSprint account, no login, and no analytics service receiving your driving data.

Location is used only to record trips. Auto-tracking wakes when you drive away from where you parked, records the route while you are driving, and stops when the trip ends. LogSprint does not run location in the background between trips.

If you turn on iCloud backup, the app writes a backup to your own iCloud Drive under your Apple ID, protected by Apple's iCloud encryption. That copy is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app from your phone deletes the local database; deleting the backup from iCloud Drive removes the copy.

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no card details and no billing identity from Apple.
